My Contribution
1. Strategic Planning:
Participate in the development of an IT strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives, assess technology needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and plan the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
2. Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure team skills match company needs and promote professional development.
3. Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the IT budget, allocate resources effectively, and make informed decisions on technology investments. Assess cost benefits, negotiate contracts with vendors, and optimize resource usage to maximize organizational value.
4. Project Management:
Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion. Define project scope, create project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
5. IT Operations and Support:
Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services. Supervise day-to-day IT operations, including system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Coordinate IT support services, handle incident response and problem resolution, and monitor system performance to minimize downtime and disruptions.
6. Security and Risk Management:
Responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of IT systems and data. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols. Monitor potential threats, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Manage security incidents and collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to mitigate risks.
7. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external service providers. Work closely with internal stakeholders (such as department heads and senior management) to understand business needs, prioritize IT initiatives, and ensure consistency between technology and organizational goals.
8. Technical Updates and Maintenance:
Responsible for updating the Aumake Hi Shopping Warehouse mini-program to ensure the normal use of its online store, in order to increase user engagement and brand awareness.
9. Corporate Video Production:
Responsible for creating updated corporate videos to enhance brand influence.
10. User Support and Help Desk Management:
Manage support staff to ensure timely resolution of user issues and implement self-service options.
11. Time Management and Prioritization:
Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, balancing operational needs with strategic initiatives.
12. Sales and Marketing Skills:
Even as an IT manager, it is necessary to have a customer-centric mindset, understanding and meeting the needs of end-users, which requires an understanding of the principles of marketing and sales.
